PERIDECT+

PERIDECT+ detects an intruder directly on the boundary of the protected area and gains sufficient time for the security operator for an effective reaction. It brings lower risk and higher prevention of larger damage than intrusion detection inside the protected site. Peridect+ can be installed on all common types of fencing but also on non-standard fencing like metal plates and welded decorative fences.

Features

EXTREMELY LOW NUISANCE ALARM RATE
With a unique algorithm that compares data from neighboring detectors, Peridect+ dramatically reduces nuisance alarms caused by weather conditions like rain, wind, hail and lightning.

COST EFFECTIVE SOLUTION
One control unit CUP+ (with two line controllers LCP+) covers up to 3 km of your perimeter. Cascading CUP+ units allows you to protect hundreds of kilometers of your fence.

NATIVE INTEGRATION WITH IP CAMERAS
In case of intrusion detection, the external IP PTZ camera is automatically directed to move to the intrusion area for two-step verification.

DETECTION ACCURACY
Thanks to addressable vibration sensors fitted at each fence panel, Peridect+ supports very high detection accuracy – typically 3m.

ANTIVANDAL SOLUTION
Stainless steel tube for cables increases protection against mechanical damage and electromagnetic interference.

GALVANIC ISOLATION OF DETECTION LINE
Each detection line is galvanically isolated from the CUP+ unit. This provides much higher electomagnetic immunity.

SYMETRICAL CONNECTION OF DETECTORS
A symmetrical two-wire connection simplifies installation of the system because it is not necessary to follow the polarity of the wires. It also increases system resistance to EMI.

REDUNDANCY
Ring connection with one control unit and two line controllers (master/slave) can be used for system back up in case of detection line interruption or a short circuit.

INTEGRATIONS WITH 3RD PARTY SYSTEMS
Programmable outputs can be linked to security control panels. An open API is available for PSIM and VMS integration. These SW can display the exact location of the intrusion.

MODULARITY
Modular architecture of Peridect+ allows easy modification and system extension in the future.

PERIDECT+ SYSTEM CHARACTERISTICS
+ Modular system – modules, which are primarily designed for the placement on DIN rail, can be easily set up
in the required set.
+ Galvanic line separation – each detection line is galvanically separated from the evaluation unit, which
provides the increased resistance to interference.
+ Symmetrical connection of detectors – a two wire cable is used for the connection of the individual detectors
in the detection line. The symmetrical connection simplifies the system installation, it is not necessary to follow
the wires polarity, and it increases the system resistance to interference.
+ Connecting up to 500 detectors per one line controller – this feature allows securing easily large perimeter
up to 1 500 m (for 3 m panels). It is possible to use two line controllers in one place and then up to 3 000 m
can be safeguarded or this length can be between two switchboards in the case of the large perimeter.
+ Safeguarded detection line – at this connection the line controller is connected to the detection line on each
side. One controller (Master) communicates with the detection line in a standard way and the second one
(Slave) as a backup monitors the detection line operation. In the case of the communication interruption
between the Master controller and some of the detectors (e.g. when cutting the line) the Slave controller takes
over the control of the detectors from the other side of the line. The “Safeguarded detection line“ can be used
in the smaller installations in the ring connection with one control unit and two line controllers and for the large
installations the continuous safeguarding of the detection line can be used, when the Slave line controller
takes over the control in the case of interruption or a short circuit.
+ Separators – secure the detection line operation even in the case of a short circuit on the line. Separators
are always installed after a certain number of the detectors. In the case of a short circuit on the line between
the separators, this section gets out of operation, but the function of the rest of the detection line remains
unaffected. The part of the line powered by the Master line controller works in the same way up to the
position of the separator in front of the short circuit and the Slave line controller takes over the activity and
communication of the detection line from the next separator after the short circuit
